The Northeast Georgia Literary Society (along with the University of North Georgia/Gainesville) are sponsoring an Author Festival on August 29th.

o   Location: UNG Gainesville Campus (3820 Mundy Mill Rd, Oakwood, GA  30566) in the Martha Nesbitt Building (on campus on the NW side on Mathis Drive).

There will be 40-50 authors there to sign and sell their books.

This is a great event if you want to learn about a bunch of local authors and have time to chat and socialize with them.

Our Annual Picnic will be June 3, at the Wilshire Trails pavilion, starting at noon.  The picnic is potluck and members are asked to bring the following:   A-D Sides, F-J Desserts, K-M Drinks, and N-W Main Dishes.

    NEGA Writers' Contest results and awards will be presented.
