Northeast Georgia Literary Society Authors’ Social Club (aka“Authors’ Social”)
Purpose of Club:
The Author Social group is a monthly social event in which authors and other interested parties can network, share news, and find resources within the NEGA writing community. There’s no agenda (other than enjoyment), but board members may give impromptu status on various Society events.
There are no fees or dues for this event. Each attendee is responsible for their own meal and/or drinks.
Who’s the Author Social for?
The group is open to anyone who has an interest in writing, whether they be a writer, a writer’s significant other, or a resource person (editor, cover designer, printer, publishing company representative, videographer, photographer, etc.). If you just like to hang out with some creative and fun people, this is the group for you.
Meeting Schedule
The NGLS Authors’ Social Group meets on the second Thursday of every month from 6:00-8:00 pm.
The venue for the foreseeable future is Kelley’s Tavern at 824 E. E. Butler Street in Gainesville. Check the NGLS Calendar for the next meeting.
